LIFE IS TOO LONG TO CRY, TOO SHORT TO TRY

To all the beloved readers, may life is good to you! In today session, since there is a request from someone to me to explain and elaborate about the word 'life', so I'd like to touch a little bit about it eventhough I'm not so expert in this topic (my expertise is actually in aquaculture..hehe) but I'll try my best!

We have often heard the saying "Life is a struggle" but what do we know about this? What can we learn from it? LIFE IS A STRUGGLE and STRUGGLE IS LIFE..

We tend to say life is struggle. If we want to achieve something, we need to struggle and we need to put all our efforts as much as possible in order to make it successful but how many of us practice it in their life? Who's willing to struggle and to work until late at night, burning in the midnight oil to study/work and who's willing to sacrifice something that he/she loves to in order to get what he/she wants? A few of us..otherwise all university students scored 4.0 already in every semester!! Actually, struggle is just a word playing on every lip but we never show off in our action, that's why what we want, what we target, what we hope, we never get it!!

'STRUGGLE', not everyone likes it. We may not like it but in actual fact 'STRUGGLE' makes us more alive! In many cases nature has always been sending that message to us. Take those trees which are always facing storms and winds. They are not only stronger but their roots also grow deeper into the ground. The trees which fight for sunlight in the jungles are definitely stronger and taller than the creepers that cling around them or the small ferns which are under their shelter.

We look at our daily life routine. People who exercise are stronger than those who don't. Our muscles need to struggle to make us stronger. People who work are somehow more active than those who just sit at home doing nothing.

We can apply what I said above in our study. My beloved friends.., to achieve something, we have to sacrifice something. We cannot run from it. You want to have a motorcycle for example, you have to sacrifice your money..you want to tackle a girlfriend, you also have to sacrifice your money to buy something that she likes, to sacrifice maybe time dating with her..than you will get what you want. Simply say..you will get what you invest in! What you give, you get back.

In the campus context, if you want to score 4.0 flat, NO MATTER HOW..you have to sacrifice, in terms of reducing your sleeping time, chatting time, 'facebooking' time, money to buy books and so on and so forth. That's we call struggle. Naturally, you struggle something, God will replace it with something even better..believe me, it's true!! Sooner or later....

Finally, struggle forces us to move when we would otherwise stand still. And it leads us eventually to the full realisation that success comes only through struggle. Nothing worthwhile in life is ever achieved without a struggle. If it were easy, everyone would do it.

I recommend all of you to read a book written by Billi Lim - Dare To Fail. I'm sure it will inspire you to go harder in your study.

Last but not least, DON'T STOP AT THE TOP, TOUCH THE SKY BEFORE YOU DROP..NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

Wallahua'lam
